Sorry

New resolution: stop saying I am sorry for not posting in a long long time. I feel that it's getting repetitive and boring. Excuses, excuses and more excuses. I need to stop. I know you guys are very understanding, but let's be real, no one wants to hear me trying to fix things and pretend everything's fine with all this baby crap. I won't excuse myself anymore after this post. I promise.

I'll try to keep you up to date as best as I can with what I have to say and what I have under my sleeves and bare skin .

But wait... I have to say I'm sorry one more time. I feel sorry for myself {and don't worry, it's not the I-pity-myself kind of thing}. It's just that I feel I should write more {and by that, I mean that you should too}. Keeping record of what you do in your life R I G H T N O W will pay you big in the future. Something you wrote yesterday may seem pointless in the moment because it's still fresh and vivid in your mind. Why bother reading something you did yesterday, when you can replay it an infinite number of times in your precious brain? Sadly, as time goes by, those little memories will be replaced and repressed by new ones, leaving the once vivid moment of one yesterday in the past. And, I'm not discrediting the brain by any means. On the contrary, I praise it because without it I wouldn't be writing this note to you. Now going back, yes your brain will save little pieces of one specific day, but never the exact details. So, here's where writing comes into play! When you no longer remember the details, that something you wrote one yesterday will act as a time machine, as it will make you travel in time in a matter of seconds and take you in a roller coaster of emotions.

Write today! Not tomorrow... TODAY. Remember that a piece of carbon will turn into a diamond.

As my friend Karina says: your future self will thank you immensely.

Yours truly,

Dorianne
