It doesn't take too long to realize someone is your soulmate. Soulmates aren't necessarily romantically involved or have known each other for many years. It just takes a simple and powerful connection; an art, a certain glitter and magic, you cannot explain.
Different from lovers, soulmates feel invulnerable and unbreakable with each other. Soulmates let their guards down; they are not scared of desynthesizing themselves and pouring their hearts over their hands as they speak. But the most beautiful thing of it all, soulmates cross the barriers of judgment, masks, and temporary films that only evil social norms create. It is only with true soulmates you are not afraid to be you, the person that only exists in the darkest hours and the corners of solitude.
And oh it feels good to be enchanted with empathy, to simply be understood.
